The Information Regulator SA is inviting all public and private bodies to submit their annual reports on access to information requests for the 2025/2026 financial year.
In terms of section 32 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (“PAIA”), the Information Officer of every public body must annually submit to the Information Regulator a report in respect of access to information requests received and processed by the public body.
In terms of section 83(4) of PAIA, the Heads of Private Bodies or Deputy Information Officers are requested to submit to the Information Regulator, annual reports about requests for access to records received and processed by the private body.
The Submission Period: 01 April 2026 – 30 June 2026.
How to submit:
All submissions must be completed via the Regulator’s eServices portal.
Please note: Submissions can only be made if the Information Officer, Heads of Private Bodies, or Deputy Information Officer is registered on the portal.
