Senelo Thaba is a Legal Intern at PPM Attorneys. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Limpopo.
Senelo practises across technology, telecommunications and regulatory law, privacy and data protection, information security, administrative law and litigation. He advises public and private sector clients on regulatory compliance, digital governance and emerging technology matters, and regularly drafts legal opinions, advisory memoranda and litigation documents.
His work spans artificial intelligence governance, regulatory sandboxes, telecommunications regulation, POPIA compliance, cybersecurity, public sector governance and complex regulatory frameworks. He has also contributed to thought leadership on technology law through publications examining the legal implications of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital regulation.

• Advises on regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies, including regulatory sandboxes and innovation-enabling regulation.
• Attends to matters involving the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT), including telecommunications policy, digital governance and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts legal research on artificial intelligence, digital regulation, telecommunications law and technology governance.
Privacy, Cybersecurity & Information Governance
• Advises clients on POPIA compliance, information governance and data protection obligations.
• Drafts security compromise notifications, legal opinions and regulatory documentation relating to data breaches.
• Prepares notifications and supporting documentation for submission to the Information Regulator.
• Drafts privacy policies, notices and other compliance documentation.
• Advises on legal issues relating to cybersecurity, information security and emerging technologies.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
• Drafts High Court pleadings, including summonses, notices of motion, affidavits and applications for default judgment.
• Drafts heads of argument and conducts legal research in support of litigation strategy.
• Drafts letters of demand, settlement correspondence and other dispute-resolution documentation.
• Conducts legal research across commercial, regulatory, telecommunications and administrative law disputes.
Administrative & Public Sector Law
• Advises on administrative law, public procurement and regulatory governance matters.
• Drafts legal opinions and advisory memoranda for public sector clients.
• Conducts statutory interpretation and legal research relating to legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Attends to matters involving government departments, regulatory authorities and state entities.
Commercial & Technology Advisory
• Reviews commercial agreements, technology contracts and regulatory documentation.
• Drafts legal opinions and advisory memoranda on commercial and regulatory matters.
